#Lit4Vit

#Lit4Vit is a campaign that happens on June 25th World Vitiligo day, that is designed to raise awareness, support and shine a light on the critical need for education for vitiligo! This is a community effort with support groups for all over the country participating.

Our community knows that vitiligo matters, and lighting landmarks and workplaces on World Vitiligo Day, June 25th, will raise awareness of vitiligo. Anyone can turn a building PURPLE and #Lit4Vit here is how you how to join this campaign to shine a light on vitiligo this World VITILIGO Day.

How can YOU help?

Contact the owners of a well-known landmark in your town or city and ask them to join in. This is not as hard as you might think. In 2023, over 75+ places went #Lit4Vit, including US Bank Stadium, Mayo Clinic University of Wyoming, Orlando City Hall, as well as a host of town halls, bridges and other landmarks around the US. Use the following sample letter below!  

See a list of over 350 possible landmarks to be #Lit4Vit.  This is a working spreadsheet with states, cities and links to apply for the landmarks. Click on button below to find your state to see if you can apply!  We know a lot of these landmarks do not have links to apply, and that is where we need your help! If you find links or emails, please add them into the cell marked "link to apply" If you get an approval, please email our marketing director HERE
