On June 28, 2023, Representative Rob Consalvo of Boston hosted a legislative briefing on Vitiligo at the State House. This event was to promote legislation that would require health insurance coverage for treatment of Vitiligo in Massachusetts. This was co-sponsored by Rep. John Lawn and Rep. Adrian Madaro.
On November 14th, members of VITFriends® participated in a historic day in Massachusetts, as MA state representative Rob Consalvo introduced Bill H976 to support individuals with Vitiligo. This is an act to require FULL health insurance coverage for those with vitiligo. You can read more about the bill here.
