Introducing our Leader:

Dr. Wallace Henry, III

Dr. Wallace currently resides in Silver Spring Maryland. He first connected with VITFriends in January 2016. He officially joined VITFriends in the spring of 2016 in an effort to connect with others dealing with vitiligo.  After receiving a tremendous amount of support and information he made the decision to start a VITFriends support group in the DC-Metro area.    Wallace received a vitiligo diagnosis in the spring of 2015 and like many others felt devastated and fearful of where this disease would take him and how would he deal with the change in his appearance. As a man of faith he struggled with this new reality and then came to the realization that this too was a part of a divine purpose for his life.  As a leader, his greatest asset is the willingness to see and to create a vision supported by action and commitment.  In education and in ministry, he has helped many individuals to discover and fulfill their purpose and looks forward to replicating this for many others.
